2014 sees the launch of the first ASA annual volunteer satisfaction survey which will provide all ASA volunteers with an opportunity to tell us more about your personal volunteer experience.
The survey will not only offer you the opportunity to tell us about your current experience, but to highlight any additional support or training that you would like to receive.
We want to know more about your individual experience as a volunteer, what motivates you, the training you have accessed and how much you know about the volunteer support currently available to you. Survey responses will support the future development of ASA volunteer initiatives.
The satisfaction survey is open to all ASA volunteers of any age and from all aquatic disciplines. Whether you are a parent who helps out on the front desk, a club coach, team manager or committee member - all we ask is that you don't receive any payment for the time you give up to the sport. If you perform a role within aquatics as a volunteer and are paid for another please complete the survey from a volunteer perspective only.
The survey will close on the 12th December and should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our aquatic clubs, and we want to know more about the experience you have!
The survey is completely confidential and does not require personal details to be provided. It also will not identify any club or county so please complete it as honestly as possible. Should you have any questions regarding the use of the survey results, please do not hesitate to contact email@example.com

Join In started in a very special year. On the weekend between the end of the Olympics and the start of the Paralympics, 300,000 people took part in the inaugural Join In by going back to where it starts for every great champion: their local sports club.
The aim of Join In is to encourage people to help out at sports clubs and community groups around the UK. The first step is for clubs and groups to host special community events. (There were more than 6,000 events held for Join In 2012.)
Whether clubs are looking to sign up more members, supporters or volunteers, Join In events are the perfect opportunity to attract local people who may never have come to their club before. As well as showcasing every event on the Join In website, our team helps event hosts with ongoing support, guidance and a national media campaign, backed by many of our best-loved Olympians and Paralympians.
Join In 2013 looks set to be bigger and better than ever. And you're invited! The Join In Summer kicks off on 27 July and runs through to 9 September. More than 1,000 events have already been registered, and the numbers are growing fast. Very soon, you'll be able to register to attend and volunteer at events near you.
Join In is managed and run by the registered charity, The Join In Trust Limited.
Funded by government grant and the Big Lottery Fund, we are endorsed by the Sports Councils and National Governing Bodies of sport, as well as many local and regional sporting organisations and community organisations.
